4-weeks

Emilio is 4-weeks old.
He's been spending his days doing the typical baby activities; eating, sleeping, & pooping.
We also have worked in tummy time, a few trips to the park & running errands with mom & big sister.

Bittersweet

At Lucia's latest opthamologist visit we found out that she no longer needs to wear her glasses.
It was a bittersweet moment when we found out. Of course we were so happy her eye has improved so much she no longer needs the glasses, but at the same time she's had them her whole life (since she was 3-months old) and they had become a part of how everyone knows her. Glasses or no glasses, so still the cutest girl we know!

Snip Snip

Well the time had come. Lucia's hair was becoming more uncontrollable by the day. Her first haircut was in order. Mama's job was to cut, papa's job was to entertain & gammy's job was to capture the special occasion on film.
Before the cut.
Papa was a little nervous that we were doing it ourselves without involving a professional.
The first snip.
Her curly hair is deceivingly long.
Books & the DS kept Lucia busy the whole time. Great job papa.
It took a little longer than expected, but turned out well.

A happy experience for all!
