Oh Kermie!

Last week Kermit packed himself up and took a trip back to Michigan.
He escorted Aunt Mary to her Halloween dance.
The pair earned the Most Creative Costume Award.
Kermit and "Miss Piggy" had a great time at the dance . . . they danced the night away.

Ribbit-or-Treat

Lucia's first Halloween.

She wanted to be a frog . . . . . . just like her buddy Tad. She picked out her own pumpkin. The perfect size. Tad dressed up as a ghost. Tad taught Lucia the art of fly catching. . . . waiting for flies . . . Lucia working on her frog kick. Exploring her habitat. Lucia the Frog enjoyed reading her spooky Halloween book, Five Little Pumpkins. Reading sure made this little froggy hungry . . . more fly catching was in order. Lucia spent the whole day as a frog. Since we only had 3 trick-or-treaters there was plenty of candy left over for our hungry frog.
. . . oh how sweet it is . . . only 57 more candy bars to go!
Happy Halloween!

Little Pumpkin

Last weekend we got into the Halloween spirit at Burton Orchard's Pumpkin Festival.

We were way too cool to ride the school bus so they put us on the cool bus.

Playing in the hay maze.

Exploring the world of chickens. We made it through the baby tunnel of terror. The pumpkin patch. Can you guess which pumpkin we took home? hint: the cutest one in this patch.

Me Want Cookie

Lucia had her first cookie.
"I kinda like this cookie"
"YUM . . .

. . . YUM . . .

. . . YUMMY!"
Thumbs up for cookies!
What a chomper.
"Move over Cookie Monster, here I come."
Only a few cookie crumbs left.
"More cookie please!"

Wet Noodle

Wet Noodle
by Lucia
Rub-a-dub in my tub.

Oh how I love to get wet . . .

. . . my toys I could never forget.

The shower tickles me . . .

. . . I wish I could stay 'til I get wrinkly.

Time to dry off cause my bath is done . . .

. . . I had so much fun.

Now it's time to get ready for my day . . .

. . . I have to brush my hair before I can play.

Brushing my gums is important too . . .

. . . because I like to suck and chew.
